Mine is these little clippy things that hold the corners of the duvet when you're changing the bed..heehee...it's the little things that make me happy :-)
I can't think of a favourite gadget but I think I need to get some of those clippy things for duvet - they could be my favourite - a great invention I think!
My fabulous kitchen aid mixer! Expensive but my treat to myself!! Hopefully a good investment for the future....and I do like to bake and eat cakes... a lot!
Oooooh object of desire! I can oft times be found in the kitchen shop gazing at them and perhaps stroking gently (when I was younger it was shoes...now it's kitchen stuff I lust after)
now I threw my garlic crusher out years ago because I hated washing it up (little bits all stuck in the holes)...perhaps the trick is not to peel the cloves first..I tend to just chop it now, or smoosh it with the flat of the knife
My favourite gadget is also low-tech, it's a quarter inch measure for quilting. It's just a plastic stick but it saves me so much time. I hand quilt so don't have a sewing machine as a guide. Plus it reminds me of our first trip to my favourite place in England - Shewsbury.
I have 2 favourite sharp knives, if they are in the dishwasher I will take them out and wash them even if there are others in the drawer.
ReplyDeleteI have a favourite knife...but I also hate washing up so I must confess to misappropriating the cheese knife even on occaision :o)
